The colour blue has had a strong connection to weddings for a very long time. For many it represents love, purity and fidelity and was used to ward off the evil eye.
The tradition was to wear a blue garter on your wedding day. We were inspired by this connection and wanted to incorporate beautiful shades of blue in our styled shoot. To us, the colour blue brings a feeling of calmness and peacefulness to a wedding day.
There are so many ways to incorporate the colour blue into your wedding day from a beautiful pair of shoes like the Rachel Simpson ones we featured to a sprinkling of blue in a bouquet.
