Toronto Wedding Photography Krista + Patrick One King West

Krista & Patrick were married at , what we believe, is one of the most beautiful churches in Toronto,Trinity College Chapel on the U of T campus. The architecture coupled with the most magnificent natural light make it one of the most aesthetically beautiful locations for wedding photography anywhere. When you add to this fact how in love Krista & Patrick are and how much they genuinely care about eachother the combination was pure magic. There is a small room off to the right at the front of the church which we love to use for portraits of the bride and groom immediately following the ceremony when time permits. Shafts of light enter from high above cascading across the brides veil and dress to create incredibly romantic images. From Trinity College we visited the graffiti filled alleyways at Queen Street & Portland Avenue before moving on to St. James Park at King & Church Streets. The reception was held at the fabulous One King West. There we photographed Krista & Patrick in what was once an old bank vault located on the lower level. The trick to capturing magnificent photos in this location is in a multi strobe lighting set up all triggered by wireless remote radio transmitters which produces hard shadows and shards of light piercing the bars from within the vault creating a dramatic back light effect. It’s one of our favorite places to photograph a wedding and always produces one of a kind wedding photographs not easily aquired any here else in the city.
