Toronto Wedding Photography – Laura + Richard – Prince Edward County – Country Wedding

Laura and Richard created a unique and charming atmosphere for their wedding day. The venue was “Field’s of West Lake” in beautiful Prince Edward County, Ontario. The ceremony was held on the shore of the pond with lush green field’s of fresh grass gently blowing in the background. The ceremony was made extra special with the groom’s mother marrying the couple. The cocktail hour was magical. A bluegrass band entertained the guests as they enjoyed fresh shucked oysters and other tasty appetizers served up from the barbeque. Aside from a few shots taken on country roads enroute to the venue all wedding photography was taken on site. The light was warm and soft and made for some gorgeous images. The reception was held inside the barn and golden shards of sunlight pierced the cracks in the barn board walls to create a warm and inviting setting for dinner and speeches. If you are searching for a vintage or rustic country flavored venue look no further than the “Field’s of West Lake”.

Toronto Wedding Photography – Mohammad & Maryam – Fantasy Farm – Persian Wedding

Mohammad & Maryam enjoyed perfect weather on their wedding day. The Persian ceremony took place at Fantasy Farm on Pottery Road in the lovely renovated back garden. The Sofra table was beautiful and no detail was missed. Bridal party photographs were taken at Evergreen Brick works. This location is rich with a variety of settings and backgrounds to take advantage of which offer a lot of variety for the wedding photos. The old brick ovens make very dramatic backdrops when lit with portable speedlights as in the examples here. The reception was lively and, as at all Persian weddings, the dancing started early and continued until last call. The “kinife” dance is  a traditional dance that is a part of every Persian wedding. Various women dance seductively around the groom whom must bribe them for the knife to cut the wedding cake with.
